"The author has coined the term The Class System to describe the disciplinary context into which our modern, middle-class society has formulated to ensure its own survival. The Class System is based on a survival-of-the-fittest precept that has been applied to our dating rituals. The author contends that this system of dating rituals controls the behavior of our entire society. We can change the system by changing our individual behavior patterns. Once a person begins to recognize the negative influence of certain patterns and begins to change those patterns, she will reach a level of enlightenment that had been previously unknown to her. The author explains the origin and history of his sociological theory, provides many details of the system as it applies to the individual, and then offers many examples of techniques the person can adopt to better her chances for long-term dating success. "
