"A man made cold by war swore never to love, and is tested by a woman whose eyes show all the colors of time. Wildlife biologist Eden Summers is hired to track cougars in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, and is helped by local rancher Nevada Blackthorn, a man hardened by years of commando training in Afghanistan. He feels an instant attraction the moment he sees her, but fights it like a wolf trapped in a snare. He believes that love is a fairy-tale, that what exists between a man and a woman is love. Eden believes that love, like life, is never futile, never wasted, and that love can set free a lonely hunter trapped by the cold. In lonely cabin up on the mountains, Nevada and Eden struggle with desire that promises to heal or destroy them both. This is the fourth installment of the "Western Lovers" series."
