"Jackie is a black woman who couldn't understand why people always brought her race into everything and never saw her as Jackie first and a black woman second. She didn't think anyone could love her for herself except an african american male. But Rico proved her wrong. The moment he laid eyes on her. Rico saw Jackie as the woman he had fallen "madly in love" with and no one was going to stand in his way of making Jackie his wife. The couple go through several probelms as any interracial people would and does."
