| Plot Summary of Wisconsin Dells: The Horror of the Heartland |
"Wisconsin Dells: The Horror of the Heartland, is the tale of one man's nightmarish quest through the midwest.
John--a writer--holds high hopes of finding some inspiration to write on a road trip. His two dim-witted travel companions, distractions that sway him from his goal, and unsavory run-ins with criminals, problematic college students, and tourists, make his trip an unpleasantly laborious one.
When complete exhaustion and discouragement from his unsuccessful search set in, he retreats to a friend's seasonal cabin in the woods to catch his breath. There he realizes that although he didn't see it while he lived it, he received exactly what he needed. His arduous journey, and everyone in it, is his next book.
