Plot Summary of More, Now Again
"Elizabeth, a recovering addict of many substances, thinks ritalin is safe and begins to snort it. She becomes isolated, obsessive and delusional. She is afraid of commitment, the world, but ultimately herself. She gives a detailed look into a world we rarely are exposed to, that of a middle class white woman in her mid twenties, while being extremely smart still is sucked into a world that only leads to the gutter both literally and physically."
Katy, Resident Scholar

"Elizabeth Wurtzel author of "Prozac Nation," and "Bitch," is back with "More, Now, Again," a brutally honest descent into her life of drug addiction. With her second novel pass due and her personal life spiralling downward Elizabeth is prescribed ritalin to help her forcus and improve the effects of antidepressants. The ritalin worked and worked and worked that soon she began snorting it, then cocaine, then more ritalin, then more cocaine, then anything that she could get that would help her "work" and escape reality. "
