| Plot Summary of Under Abnormal Conditions |
"A horrible car accident destroys virtually everything that was important to Michael Drake, he loses his mentor grandfather, and his marriage ends. As he tries to begin a new life with his former high school sweetheart, Michelle, she suddenly disappears. Under Abnormal Conditions picks up six months after Michelle's disappearance. Michael is going through his usual routine at the jazz club he manages and when he receives a threatening phone call. The caller tells him that there is a bomb somewhere is the building. He makes the decision to clear the building and that is where his trouble truly begins. It turns out that the bomb threat was merely a cover for a more sinister crime, the murder of a person who was a link to his past life with Michelle. Being the only suspect that the police are interested in, Drake is faced with the task of finding the real killer himself if he ever hopes to put the past behind him and have normal life. "
