| Plot Summary of A Season for Slaughter |
" The book deals with the onslaught of an alien ecological invasion of earth. The main character James McCarthy, is a young man with anger, arrogance, and frustration as his only way of communicating with other people. The story revolves around his anger and how he begins to develop as a human being. The book is well worth reading again and again, if only for the insights the author has on his character development.
As for the ecological infestation, this too is a far cry from your typical Sci-Fi invasion series. The premise of an attacking foe without any obvious intelligence but with evidence all around is an intriging story line."
H. Wetmore, Resident Scholar
