| Plot Summary of Forever Child |
"The story is set in Northern California in the year 2315, when science has extended life expectancy to three-hundred years by effectively halting physical development in late childhood. Secured inside giant hives and protected from outsiders condemned to live natural lives, the forever children play at their endless games. But a terrible earthquake breaks the seal between the two worlds just long enough to throw the lives of two boys into turmoil, exchanging their destinies. Now Seelin must live as an outsider, growing up to raise a family in the chaotic wilderness, while Kianno takes Seelin's place as a forever boy. Years later, haunted by distant memories, Kianno and Seelin are compelled to cross forbidden boundaries to find each other, and to discover the lives which might have been their own. Their journeys take them into the heart of a struggle which threatens the very foundation of a world captivated by its own eternal youth."
