In 1812 England, Samantha Douglas knows that the carriage accident that left her with a notable limp makes her inferior to her aristocratic peers. Yet for some reason Russian Prince Rudolf Kazanov enjoys her company. However, he knows nothing can come of this because he fled his homeland, accompanied by his young daughter and his mother, after allegedly stealing one of his country's heirlooms. He knows his enemies may surface at any moment.
However, his efforts to keep Samantha out of his troubles end when she is abducted with him. They escape, but the adventure makes her realize that her self-pitying deprecation over her “handicap” must stop so she can act on her love and for the safety of her beloved and his family if she wants a lifetime as his royal wife.
TO CHARM A PRINCESS is a charming Regency romance that runs on high octane due to the macho lead “arse” of a male, whose caring for the three females in his life will touch the audience. Though fans will appreciate when Samantha stops whining in her tea about her limp, once she tastes superheroism, she becomes a delightful courageous person willing to risk her life and heart for love. Patricia Grasso provides sub-genre readers with a pleasant tale.
