| Plot Summary of The Switch |
"To boy or not to boy, that is the question...lol
The Earl of Radcliff meets a young couple, brother and sister, Charlie and Beth, trying to escape their uncle. Much to their dismay, he takes them under his wing and offers to escort them to London. Determined to protect the innocents, he installs them in his house, introducing Beth to the Ton so she can find a husband, so she and Charlie can escape their Uncle's clutches. Worry sets in, though while Radcliff is attracted to Beth, he finds himself more entranced with "Charlie", but relief sets in when he finds out Charlie is Charlotte and she and Beth had been trading places - each playing the male in order for them to travel to escape their wicked uncle.
And if sounds like a straight for historical, then forget it. It's Lynsay Sands back, sprinkling her magick faerydust, with her witty humour and wacky fun!!"

"Charlie and Beth are a pair of twin sisters on the run from their conniving uncle who is plotting to more or less sell them off in marriage to two highly undesirably types. In order to confuse their searchers, they hatch a plan - one of them dresses as a boy to throw the dogs off their scent.
Enter Jeremy, Lord Radcliff, handsome, serious, and rich and powerful into the bargain. He, to Charlie and Beth's dismay, is determined to shelter the pair of "brother and sister" under his wing. As his relationship with the pair grows, he becomes gradually more and more perturbed by the strange feelings that he experiences whenever near that young man Charlie. That is, of course, until he realises that Charlie isn't really a young man at all...
