Plot Summary of Tristan and Isolde
"Tristan is a child prodigy- he's well educated, knows many languages, can play the harp, and he knows how to properly butcher a deer! Not only is he practically perfect in every way, but he's also of noble birth. Because he's so cool, the king takes him in and makes him his pet. Tristan's first assignment is to go to Ireland and pick up the king's mail order bride, Isolde. Isolde's not too keen on leaving Ireland and marrying some strange king, so her mom cooks up some magic potion that will make her fall madly in love with her husband to be. The only trick is, once she drinks it, the next man she looks at will be her permenant love interest. When Tristan arrives to take Isolde back to the King's palace, they don't exactly hit it off. In fact, they hate each other. Then Isolde's servant, Brangaine, decides they should get drunk over a bottle of wine and make up. Unfortunately, Brangaine's a bit of a dunce and mistakes Isolde's private locker for the wince cellar and the next thing Tristan and Isolde knew they were irreverably madly in love. For the rest of their lives they have lots of sex, much to the king's displeasure, hide from the king, have more sex, pretend to repent of their sins, have more sex, and due to Brangaine's treachery, are busted by the kings and eventually are killed.
