"At forty, Georgie Jutland is a mess -- estranged from her family, her nursing career in ruins -- and finds herself stranded in small, Western Australian fishing town, living with fisherman she doesn't love and two kids whose dead mother she can never replace. Luther Fox, the local poacher and outcast, is stifled with grief and regret. “Dirt music” tells the story of their journey to each other, and their recovery."
