Plot Summary of Looking Back
"Three women met at school and have been best buddies ever since then. Cecile, confident, elegant daughter of privlege; Norma extraordinarily gifted but sadly troubled a lot. Then there's Amanda,determined to rise above her humble southern beginnings. Amanda and Cecile are both married women, yet Amanda very unhappily so. Cecile is trying to have a baby. Yet the three are always friends.

Then something unexpected happens that forever alters the picture here. A pivotal event, a shattering act of betrayal shifts the balance between husbands and wives, parents and children, sisters and brothers. And after this event occurs, they will never have the trust in each other again.
