| Plot Summary of Fox's Earth |
"Ruth Yancey Fox is about as sadistic as you can be. She is only a small child the first time she lays eyes on the magnificent three storied Georgia house called Fox's Earth. Being the daughter of a very cruel mill worker, she knows that someday she will not only live in such a house, but will make it her own. And she does just that too, achieving total control over every one under that roof, or rather all the women there.
For years and years, Rule rules with tyranny by way of manipulation. And always, her cache of closely guarded secrets and acts of cruelty grow and grow. And as she continues with her wicked behavior over others, Ruth realizes deep down that the lies she told will have to come out in the end."
