Plot Summary of The Empress of Earth

"In the third book of the Roads of Heaven trilogy (read the others first), Silence and her friends finally make the journey to Earth - but, because of a problem landing, they are trapped there. The real highlight of this book is watching Silence et al explore Earth - things we know rather well - from their culture of musical "magic" and so forth. Really interesting.
