| Plot Summary of Rubicon |
"Caesar is marching on Rome and the city is in chaos when Gordianus the Finder discovers the body of Numerius Pompeius, the young cousin of Pompey, in his own garden. An enraged Pompey threatens Gordianus' son-in-law, Davus, with conscription into his legions unless the Finder can uncover Numerius' killer. As Gordianus uncovers a trail of secrets and betrayal swirling throughout the streets of Rome, he finds himself embroiled in war, political intrigue, and the dangerous truth about Numerius' death."
