In "On Beulah Height" author Reginald Hill continues his excellent Dalziel and Pascoe series in top form. Years ago, Benny Lightfoot was the chief suspect. Dalziel didn't believe he was guilty and let him go. Then he disappeared. Now, it appears, he's back. This time, Dalziel vows, this one won't get through, and with the methodical, logical, and realistic approaches Hill provides, the CID superintendent finally "gets his man" in one of Hill's better thrillers.
