"Echo Brennen is finally about to open her hotel, The Yellow Bordello, when she discovers under the old wallpaper a picture of the previous owner and her girls. She now needs someone to restore the picture, and that someone is Rand Halstead, who has come back to Sage, Wyoming in hopes of getting closer to his twin sister. Echo and Rand are about to become involved in murder, which the "Angel's of the Night" help them solve.
