| Plot Summary of Dinotopia: The Maze |
"This book takes place in the world of Dinotopia, where humans and dinosaurs live together in harmony. Gwen is certain her father wishes she had been born a boy. He doesn't seem to want to talk to her or listen to her ideas. When he becomes sick, however, she wants nothing more than for him to get better. She doesn't want her last words to him to have been angry ones. Gwen, Jason, and a Velociraptor named Booj attempt to navigate a dangerous maze in order to find Odon, an ancient Saurian healer. Odon doesn't believe that humans and dinosaurs can live together in harmony, but Gwen and her friends have to convince him otherwise. If they don't, it's possible that all the humans in Dinotopia could die, because the disease that Gwens' father has is highly infectious."
