Plot Summary of Fisher's Hornpipe
"This book is a comic delight. Fisher is a pleasant, likable chap who gets into the unlikeliest scrapes, from squabbles with militant granola types to attempting to pleasure a preppette who can only enjoy sex if her partner holds up a red pen and scolds her for turning in a paper late. Anyone familiar with Boston or Cambridge will recognize the many thinly-disguised restaurants and hangouts. The book is in a class with _Confederacy of Dunces_ for sheer laughs."
David Loftus, Resident Scholar
