Plot Summary of Daring to Dream
"Model Margo Sullivan returns to California broke and shamed internationally. Although her best friends Laura and Kate and Josh are quick to welcome her back, they let her know that she needs to do something a little more substantial with her life than shop and primp. Margo and Josh cook up an idea to open a second hand store for all of the many things she's collected over the years. Margo embraces the idea and goes into business with Laura and Kate while struggling with her feelings for Josh--someone she'd spent most of her life looking at as a brother."
Sarrah, Resident Scholar

"Margo Sullivan has grown up in Templeton House all her life as the housekeeper's daughter. And all her life, she'd longed to escape that identity and make something of herself. So at eighteen, she runs away and becomes a successful model in Europe, until scandal leaves her almost broke and her reputation in tatters. She comes back home to Templeton House to recuperate, struggling to rebuild herlife and reputation. Meanwhile, Josh Templeton, the heir of the Templeton Hotel chain has been pining for her half his life, waiting patiently, and helps Margo pick up the pieces of her life..."
