| Plot Summary of Into the Land of the Unicorns - Unicorn Chronicles 1 |
"Trying to escape the man who was following her and her grandmother, Cara jumps off the steep bell tower at the twelth toll and finds herself in Luster, the world of the unicorns. While there, Cara meets the Dimblethum (a bear-like creature), the Squijum (a squirrel/monkey like creature), and Lightfoot (a rebellious young unicorn). Cara and her friends must travel across Luster to reach the Unicorn Queen, for the man who was following her was seeking the destruction of the unicorn, and there was a possibility that there is another behind his search, most likely the unicorns' greatest enemy, Beloved."

Along the way they meet Thomas the Tinker, a dwarf, and a dragon. Before the end Cara must face the truth about who she is and find out who the strange man is that looks familiar."
