"Isabel, a herbalist, living in St. Augustine, Florida in the 1880s sells the trading post building she owns after her stepfather's death. Little does she know that the new owner is Cooper Adair, a druggist, just arrived from Philadelphia. Cooper plans to open a drug store in the building in direct competition with Isabel. Isabel plots to have Cooper fall in love with her, in order to save her business. Isabel's cat, Grimalkin, has plans for Isabel and Cooper as well..."
