Plot Summary of Bone Walk
"A medieval fantasy novel. Thomas Shepard is a shy but gifted bookkeeper whose quiet, medieval life of ledgers and grain is turned upside down when extraordinary works of art begin to appear in Eden Village. Lord Varden, the counselor to the high lord, sends Thomas and two companions into the Western Wood to learn the secrets of the treasures. Under the eaves of the Western Wood, they encounter the deadly, nearly insane Bone Eaters, the mysterious Tree Walkers, and artisans who have paid a terrible price for their skills. Vivid, frightening, and filled with challenges to the human spirit.
