"Ellen Rimbauer married John Rimbauer at a very young age. John was 20 years older then her. Ellen began this diary to have a way to release her frustrations and anxieties about her new marriage. She also shared with her diary the confusion she experienced with her sexuality. The diary relays her feelings and emotions as she grows into her marriage and life. It also has a detailed description of the mansion being built in the Seattle area. She names this mansion Rose Red. This huge home will be the place where many tragedies take place. Ellen believes this house to be alive and feeds of the souls of its choosing. This young woman was lead down a very bumpy and pot holed filled road."
