"By edict of the Queen, Lady Ariana Caldwell must marry Trenton Kingsley the Duke of Broddington. Ariana knows that she should be afraid of him, after all six years ago, when she was just a child, he ruined her family and is suspected of killing her sister, but for some reason she can't seem to find it in her heart to believe that he is guilty . . . and her judge of character has never failed her.
