Plot Summary of Outlander
"Claire Randall goes for a walk after WWII and finds herself transported back to Scotland in the 1700's. There she meets her present day husband's evil ancestor, and an amazing Highlander willing to protect her with his life. Claire finds love adventure, and intrigue in Jaime's arms as they work to prevent the second Scottish uprising and the end of the Clans of Scotland."
