| Plot Summary of Silent Lightning |
"An action-packed and well-researched technothriller which tells of a Syrian plot to invade Israel. To do this the Syrians develop an advanced laser radar system which manages to knock two RF-117 stealth reconnaissance aircraft out of the sky. The US intervenes and decides to pull USAF Colonel Lance Brandon out of retirement to fly a mission with a new crew and the only plane that can defeat the Syrian advanced weapons system - the NKC-135 Airborne Laser Lab. But the plane is now in a museum, the systems need updating and upgrading and time is running out! Overall, this is a brilliant thriller with well told flying scenes which definitely leave airborne action author Dale Brown sitting on the taxiing ramp!"
