| Plot Summary of Bride of the Overlord |
"Catherine, the Princess of Scotland, is captured on the orders of King Edward the Longshanks of England, by his illegitimate grandson, Alexander of Kent. Not only does he capture her, he marries her as well despite his hatred for the Scottish race. Feelings of regret fill her soul as she mourns for her people. At the same time, she can't deny the attraction that she feels for Alexander. In the beginning, she assumes it has to do with the child growing in her womb. Over the coming days, she realizes that Alexander has softened and the seeds of love started to grow. Unfortunately, she is caught between two worlds. One is of duty while the other harnessess the feelings of her heart. Can she somehow meld these two worlds together?"
