| Plot Summary of Tripoint |
"Whilst investigating the cargo of his father's, merchant- ship, Corinthian, Thomas- Bowe-Hawkins is kidnapped by members of its crew, who take him to be a possible spy for the authorities of Mariner station. The Corinthian departs with its cargo, and shortly after its drop out of jump, Thomas is released from the Corinthian's brig to be confronted by the father has never met, the ship's captain, Austin Bowe, the man who in a drunken R & R session raped Thomas' mother, Marie Hawkins, as a teenager.
For all of Thomas' life Marie Hawkins has held a desire for revenge, her idea that the Corinthian's cargo is bound for the outlaw Conrad Mazzian and his followers the one that got him caught.
On finding out who he is, Austin Bowe puts Thomas to work as part of the crew on the journey to Pell station, and the drop-zone within the deep-space anomaly, Tripoint…
