Plot Summary of Midlife Can Be Murder
"Post-menopausal community college English prof Bel Barrett is persuaded by her former Vassar roommate to prepare for an adult bat mitzvah. In the synagogue study group Bel meets former student, Ashley Roberts, who draws Bel into investigating the rock climbing "accident" that killed one of Ashley's dot com colleagues. Bel involves her sidekicks, Illuminada Guttieriez and Betty Ramsey in an undercover investigation in Jersey City's Silicon Slum. "
