"This is the first book in the Lincoln Rhyme series. Lincoln himself is a highly intellectual detective and there isn't anything he can't uncover. He had an accident that left him a quadrapeligic, but it didn't stop him from solving this unusual case with his other police buddies.
There is a killer out there who is fascinated with taking lives and going for the bones of his victims. He drives a taxicab and takes his victims off to kill them when he picks them up. As he does this, Rhyme and his friends are behind him picking up clues where this psychopath leaves them behind.
The thing is, the killer may be closer than Lincoln thinks, and in fact right under his nose and he doesn't even realize it before it may be too late!"

"This is a bone-chilling shocker about a deadly game of wits between a physically crippled but brilliant criminologist and diabolical and brutal psychokiller who is terrorizing New York City. In Lincoln Rhyme, the criminologist Deaver has created a flawed but unforgettable hero and the villian: Bone Collector he has a killer to put Hannibal Lector to shame! This novel boast up to date knowledge of forensics and chilling details as the author goes into the twisted mind of his villian. Excellent thriller but not for the faint of heart. "
