Plot Summary of Griffin & Sabine: An Extraordinary Correspondence
"One day, out of the blue, a woman named Sabine sends Griffin, a British artist, a postcard that indicates some special knowledge of his art. Griffin is stunned, and becomes even moreso when it emerges, over the course of several letters, that Sabine can see Griffin's drawing and artwork as he is doing it. Sabine lives in the South Pacific, but they make plans to meet in London. Given the odd nature of their relationship, though, is it any surprise that things don't work out quite as they intended? This is a story told entirely in correspondence, and one of the best things about it is the illustrations on the postcards and letters."
