"Elle has been in love with Noah since they were children. She made no secret of it and everybody in their small town knows it. But he leaves for ten years after a family crisis and she doesn't expect to see him again. When he does return the fireworks start, only this time, not just for her. It was a little strange reading this book since the setting is a small town a couple of miles from where I live & my town is mentioned repeatedly throughout. A little distracting since I found myself catching little ( & some not so little) inconsistencies that only a native of the area would catch. "
