Plot Summary of Myst: Book of Ti'Ana
"This is the 2nd book of a series, however it's first chronologically. It is a well done book if you like the idea of being able to write worlds and travel to them easily, and a hidden ancient society."
Keith C, Resident Scholar

"Aitrus was part of an exploration team whose aim was to create a tunnel from their underground civilization to the surface of the earth. However the exploration was frought with doubt, mostly from the elders and after an "accident" happened shortly before they complete the mission, it was ordered to be abandoned completely.

Anna's father is an archeologist. They live in the desert. After her father died when she had nowhere else to go, she decided to explore this peculiar crack in the earth she and her father once discovered. Driven by curiosity, she managed to trace her way through the abandoned tunnel and arrived at the underground city. She was alien to these people and she will have to suffer being ostracized until eventually made a part of that world.

Aitrus became Anna's foster family. She wanted to belong, to understand their strange culture. But Aitrus, hesitant at first, felt a longing in his heart, too. He, after all, wanted once to see what the surface was like. In the process of showing Anna his world, he fell in love with her. And that was a mistake. The elders didn't welcome the change then, they don't like it now. "
