Plot Summary of Carpe Jugulum
"His latest in paperback involving the witches of Lancre. The vampires of Uberwald have "invaded" Lancre and they are indestructable and so...modern, to Igor's dismay.
Entertaining and light. Better than the last stories Mr. Prachett has put out in recent years."

Anne Smittle, Resident Scholar

"His Grace Captain Vimes has been given a diplomatic mission - go to the Uberwald, attend the investment of the dwarfish Low King, and open negoations for the Uberwald fat mines' production. Lucky he brought along Sybil, Cheery Littlebottom, and Detritus to help him negotiate the unfamiliar terrain. But what a pity he left Carrot in charge back home - when Angua gets a personal summons, Carrot leaves too, and the Watch goes to hell in a handbasket. Carpe Jugulum is a slight improvement over Pratchett's other recent output - worth reading."
Ivy, Resident Scholar

"Vampires try to take over the kingdom of Lancre on the flat
discworld, four witches and pictsies put a stop to the vampire plot."

Carol Pennel, Resident Scholar

"Its a comical look at how 3 witches save the town from being controlled by Vampires."
Linzi, Resident Scholar

"A family of "modern" vampires try to take control of the small country of Lancre but their plans are foiled by Granny Weatherwax the witch, a bunch of alcholic scottish gnomes, and an Igor."
Jacob Dart, Resident Scholar
