" The life of a hurt little girl is revailed when her mother is released from jail due to illegal drug sales and the use of drugs. Marcy is forced to move back in with her mother and finds that her mother is even more distant. Marcy can also remember the years of physical and mental abuse she had went through when she was younger. And through the hard times, her best friend was there for her. Pierre. But after his mother was diagnosed with cancer, Pierre, the only person that Marcy trusted, was gone. Pierre had moved from the classy upstate town of New York to the lowlands of South America. Now Marcy felt even more alone. Years later Marcy's mother, a Julianne Moore type, went into a state of mind that she couldn't live with, and left her daughter with her grandfather, Al Pacino type, and grandmother, Segourney Weaver type. Now Marcy would learn to abide by the rules of even more classier living. Her grandfather, a stockbroker, was a man of self rightousness and greed. Marcy grew older and became something she never thought possible. A model. After meeting a man she thought she had never met, he led her to her new life. She also grew to love her grandfather and he now was the man she trusted in. But one day when two law firm agents show up everything changes. And this is when Marcy meets the man of her dreams. Jake, George Clooney type. They seem to have differences but Jake becomes over whelmed by Marcy's beauty and charisma. But what Marcy doesn't know is that Jake is the man who will, and soon take both of the men she loves away from her. This book is very suspecful and reaches into the world of a girl's semi brilliant world."
