"Crewel Lye : A Caustic Yarn" is about a barbarian who is sent on a mission which will decide who will become the next king on Xanth. Jordan, is to retrieve the daughter of the present king and bring her to Castle Roogna. If he succeeds, Yin will be king, but if he fails, Yang with be the next ruler.
