| Plot Summary of Mercy Among The Children |
"Mercy Among The Children, a book by David Richard Adams allows you to witness the trial and tribulations of three generations of the Henderson family. The book revolves around how Sydney Henderson lives and dies by his ideals because no matter the consequences he will stand firmly by them. As a child Sydney Henderson's life was changed dramatically when he pushed another child, Connie Devlin, of a church roof for stealing his molasses sandwich. He made a deal with God that if he let this child live he would never in any way hurt another person again.
