When she comes across a man, Quentin Forster, lying in an apparent drunken stupor near her Haven, she decides to take him in, deciding she has to at least try to help him with his alcoholism. It soon becomes apparent that is not what they are dealing with. He has had episodes of amnesia for years. Johanna begins to hypnotize him to try to get to the core of his pain & find out if his claim to werewolf blood is just a delusion, as she thinks. What she discovers when he is hypnotized is terrifying and she is not sure she can handle this case. But she has to try."
