| Plot Summary of Night Probe! |
"Ace marine troubleshooter Dirk Pitt searches for the wreckage of the sunken liner EMPRESS OF IRELAND and for the remains of the MANHATTAN LIMITED express train which plunged into a river from a bridge in a storm - on the same night when two high-ranking diplomats carrying world-changing documents were on board. Many years later, the future of both the USA and Canada is at stake. The US discovers oil in Canada - in a vulnerable part of Quebec, the state applying for independence. Diplomatic relations are at stake. Can Dirk Pitt save the day once more? You will surely guess the outcome, or will you? An incredibly entertaining tale written in the early 1980s and still entertaining and thrilling today as when it first came out."
