Plot Summary of Castle of Wisdom
"This book is an interesting example of the power of the internet and simple word of mouth to sell a book that would otherwise probably get slight results. It has sold out its first two print runs in the US, and is also selling in the UK. There are plans for the book to be translated into Korean and Japanese.

The author is from Alabama, and the idea for this, his first book, came to him in a dream. As a spiritual allegory, a search for enlightenment road story, the nearest things it compares to are works such as Bunyan's 'Pilgrim's Progress', and possibly George MacDonald's 'Phantastes'. Although the book is an easy read, a story about a young man on life's journey, I would not recommend it for very young readers as the numerous fight scenes are quite graphic. The strength of the book is the well-paced storyline and the moral symbolism, which is sometimes very simple, sometimes less so. I read it in one sitting, and enjoyed it. The weaknesses of the book lie in the uneven style, lack of sub-editing, and the rather amateur format. I am sure the author will be encouraged by the many enthusiastic reviews he has received, and I hope that he will be motivated to write some more."
