Plot Summary of Until You
"In the passionate sequel to "Whitney, My Love" Stephen Westmoreland discovers himself playing guardian to a woman with no memory of who she is or where she's come from. Indirectly responsible for her accident, Stephen cares for her and grows to love her, even though he knows with every ounce of his being that he shouldn't. With the need for a wedding approaching, and the truth about this beautiful woman named Sherry revealed, "Until You" has all the emotions McNaught is famous for. With many reappearances of favorites (The Townsendes and the Fieldings and Nicki Du Ville), Until You is a throughly enjoyable roller coaster."
Meredith Griffin, Resident Scholar

"Judith McNaught's UNTIL YOU tells a classical/historical love story between a school teacher, Sheridan Bromleigh, and the Earl of Langsford, Stephen Westmoreland. The story starts off with Sheridan's mission to escort Charise Lancaster to meet her fiancee in England. Unfortunately for Sheridan, Charise ran off with another man and it is her duty to inform of the sad news to the bridegroom to be.

The bridegroom, however, was killed in an accident involving Stephen Westmoreland and now he must inform Charise's party of the unfortunate event. When they were about to meet, Sheridan, whom Stephen assumes is Charise, is struck unconcious by a falling crate.

Sheridan awakens without any memory of her past in Stephen's home. Stephen explains to Sheridan that she is Charise. Stephen is now responsible for finding another suitable love buddy. As days grew, love unexpectedly blossoms between the two."
