Both of them were shattered the day Hope died but neither of them can rest till they know what killed Hope. This is the major story, but other minor subplots includes the romance of Faith Lavelle, Cade's younger sister and Hope's twin, and Cade, Tory's veterinarian cousin; Cade's running of the family's thriving farm and his mother's complete disapproval of Cade and Tory's relationship."
