Plot Summary of Mattimeo - Redwall 3
"The son of Matthias and Cornflower has been kidnapped, along with all the other small beasts of Redwall Abbey. Sold into slavery, Mattimeo and Tess Churchmouse learn how to work together with all the other imprisioned children and begin to formulate a plan of escape, while Mattimeo's father Matthias plans a way to rescue and set all the children free. Mattimeo is a classic story about survival, growth, and why good always triumphs over evil."
Meredith Griffin, Resident Scholar

"Young Mattimeo, son of Matthias the Warrior of Redwall, and his friends are kidnapped by Slagar the slaving fox to build an underground fortress for an evil white polecat named Malkariss."
