Plot Summary of Thunderhead
"Nora Kelly believes the letter from her father, written 16 years earlier, reveals the location of Quivira, the City of Gold. Through passages in the letter, Nora discovers an ancient road and convinces the Institute's director to provide funding for an expedition. She journeys with an elite team of archaeologists and scientists to discover the truth. However, the group soon finds that terror awaits them through the site and its protectors. "
