| Plot Summary of To Catch an Heiress |
"When Caroline Trent escapes her loathsome guardian and his son, she doesn't expect to be mistaken for a spy and taken prisioner by the devilishly handsome Blake Ravenscroft. After coercing her way into helping him AND the country, nothing in her life is the same, especially after she finds herself not only starting death in the face but spending the night in her captor's bed. With only a little amount left to save Caroline's future and livelihood, can the duo put passions aside or will Blake relive his all too painful past and lose the woman he loves?"
Meredith Griffin, Resident Scholar

" Caroline Trent is an heiress who needs to escape her evil guardian, Oliver Prewitt. Blake Ravenscroft is a spy for England's war department who is looking for a spy by the name of Carlotta De Leon at Oliver Prewitt's home. The two come together when Caroline is escaping through the side window (she is going into hiding for six weeks until she gains her inheritance), and Blake catches her, thinking she is the evil Carlotta.
Caroline pretends to be Carlotta because she finds that Blake's home is the perfect place to hide for six weeks. Blake and Caroline find that they are strongly attracted to each other. James, with a grevious love behind him, fights what his heart is telling him, but circumstances bring these two together for an explosive love story."
Angel Manners, Resident Scholar
