Plot Summary of High Wizardry - Young Wizards 3
"A sequel to "So you want to be a Wizard" and "Deep Wizardry". Nita's genius little sister Dairine becomes a wizard out of jealousy of her sister's powers, and she has amazing powers.   Too much. A computer wizard, Dairine's power lies mainly in traveling to other planets, other galaxies, even. Then Dairine takes her power too far, going to another universe. She can't get back! Dairine deals by traveling farther and farther from earth and her home. Nita and Kit chase her through the universes, hoping to catch her before it's too late"
Susanna, Resident Scholar

"This is the third book in the Wizardry series. The main character in this one is Dairine, the younger sister of the teenage wizard Nita. Dairine has always yearned to have magic in her life, so that she can defeat the Darth Vaders of the universe. She gets her wish when her family's computer arrives, and she discovers that she can use the computer to do the same magical things that her sister can do. Her obsession with Star Wars leads her to travel to far away planets - and the aliens chasing after her force her to travel even farther away than that. While Nita and Kit, another wizard, search for her, Dairine learns how to use her new magic, just as she learns that the magic isn't just for fun and games. She'll need allies and every bit of knowledge she has to defeat the Lone One, who wants her dead."
