"Dutch and French Heugenot pioneers setle in southern Africa in 1600s, dominate indigenous black people and take over choice land, eventually establish a country. By 1800s, British gain control, decendants of original settlers resist British governance, leading to Boer War, won by U.K. With great confidence in their Calvinist values, Boer/Afrikaners eventually steer government to establish Apartheidt after WW II resulting in brutal exploitation of indigenous people. Book written in 1985"
