By 1800s, British gain control, decendants of original settlers resist British governance, leading to Boer War, won by U.K. With great confidence in their Calvinist values, Boer/Afrikaners eventually steer government to establish Apartheidt after WW II resulting in brutal exploitation of indigenous people.
