"When a debate arose as to the legal owner of Highperch Cottage, located on the grounds of Longhills Manor, dashing Valentine Montclair met the lovely widow, Susan Henley. She claimed ownership of the quaint little cottage; Val claimed otherwise. When dangerous circumstances threw them together against their wills, love blossomed. But as time went on, Val bacame more afraid that he was losing his mind and that the widow had something to do with it.
